COCKTAIL RECIPE: ZOMBIE

ZOMBIE COCKTAIL

With rum - and lots of it - the zombie cocktail isn't for the faint hearted. This fruity mix of pineapple, lemon, passion fruit and grenadine is the perfect accompaniment to both sunny days and warm summer evenings.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Place golden rum, dark rum, pineapple puree, lemon puree, passionfruit puree, grenadine and apricot liqueur in a Boston shaker with plenty of ice
  2. Shake until ice cold
  3. Pour into a a tall tumbler (or a tiki glass if you have one to hand)
  4. Finish by pouring over the overproof rum
  5. Set fire to the top of the cocktail for a dramatic flair (optional)
Garnish with a big slice of pineapple, orange peel and mint leaves.
