MINT JULEP
Originating from the south of the United States, this popular cocktail is the most refreshing way to enjoy bourbon whiskey. This tasty cocktail has been promoted in association with the Kentucky Derby since 1938, but we love this drink any time of the year! The word “julep” means a sweet drink, and we love the combination of sweet paired with boozy bourbon.
INGREDIENTS:
- 50ml Bourbon
- 12.5ml Funkin Sugar Cane Syrup
- Mint leaves
PREPARATION:
- Muddle mint leaves in the bottom of a rocks glass
- Pour over sugar syrup and bourbon
- Fill glass with crushed ice
Garnish this minty cocktail with a sprig of mint for the perfect finish.
